iPhone 12 at a glance

The iPhone 12 features a 6.1-inch touch-sensitive OLED display with a resolution of 2532 × 1170 pixels. The iPhone 12 features Apple's new A14 Bionic System-on-a-Chip. The 12 model comes with 3 cameras. The design is inspired by the iPad Pro and the newly Introduced iPad Air 4. The iPhone 12 is available in five different colour variants called white, black, blue, green and red. The iPhone 12 is the first iPhone to feature 5G connectivity.

As with the predecessor, the back is still made of glass to enable inductive charging. The glass in the camera housing is matt, that on the rest of the back is glossy. The iPhone 12 is classified under IP68 according to IEC standard 60529 and is therefore protected against water penetration for up to 30 min in a water depth of up to 6 m.

The iPhone 12 features Apple's A14 Bionic System-on-a-Chip, which is already known from the iPad Air 4. It is the same chip as in the iPhone 12 Pro, but the RAM size is 4GB instead of 6GB. The available storage sizes are 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. It supports 5G, LTE, UMTS, GSM, Wi-Fi 6 with 2x2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, Beidou, Ultra Wideband, Dual SIM (Nano-SIM and eSIM), Apple Pay.

The iPhone 12 supports fast charging and wireless Qi charging.
