When the battery is being used with a D200, the following functions can be used:

• Equipped with an error compensation function, accurate battery level in units of 1% is displayed.
• The number of times the shutter has been released since the battery was last charged is displayed.
• The level of battery deterioration (age) is displayed with a 5-level indicator.

When used with the D100, D70 series, and D50, the battery can be used, but:

• No information other than the battery level is displayed
• The Accuracy of the display is limited to pre EN-EL3e accuracy
• Recommended battery: EN-EL3a
